Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania – Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a friendly driver from GreyJoy Safari Adventures will be there to greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Today is yours to relax after your journey—settle in, enjoy the surroundings, and get ready for the adventure ahead.
In the evening, you’ll attend a short tour briefing where your guide will walk you through the exciting days to come.

Main Destination: Arusha City
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Wildlife & Baobabs
After breakfast, we’ll pick you up at 8:00 AM and head out on a scenic 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire is a hidden gem. You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting wildlife such as lions, leopards, pythons, and countless bird species.
In the evening, you’ll head to Fanaka Lodge, located near the park, for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Journey to the Serengeti – Through the Highlands & Ngorongoro
After breakfast, we begin our journey towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands where local communities grow corn, wheat, and coffee. En route, we’ll make a stop at the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for photo opportunities.
We’ll reach the Serengeti by midday—its name means “Endless Plains” in the Maasai language, and you’ll quickly see why. Enjoy your first game drive across the vast landscapes before heading to your budget campsite inside the park for dinner and overnight rest under the stars.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Today is all about exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti. You’ll spend the full day on thrilling game drives in search of the Big Cats, massive herds of wildebeests and zebras, giraffes, crocodiles, hippos, and many more species. If you’re lucky, you may even witness a part of the Great Migration, depending on the season.
In the evening, return to camp for a delicious dinner and stories around the fire before heading to bed.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti—this is your chance to spot any animals you may have missed so far. Then, we continue the journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in the late afternoon.
Your overnight stay will be at the Simba Public Campsite, located right on the crater rim. As the sun sets over the vast landscape, enjoy dinner with a view and prepare for tomorrow’s descent into the crater.

Day 6: Explore the Ngorongoro Crater – Wildlife Paradise
Wake up early for one of the most incredible safari experiences of your life. After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. This ancient volcanic caldera is home to about 25,000 animals, including elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeest, flamingos, and, with a bit of luck, the elusive black rhino.
After an action-packed day of wildlife viewing, we’ll drive back to Arusha for your final overnight stay at the Venice Hotel.

Day 7: Farewell or Continue to Zanzibar
After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye—for now! We’ll transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, or if you’ve chosen to extend your journey, you can catch a flight to Zanzibar for a relaxing beach holiday.
