🛬 Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at the airport, you’ll be greeted by your friendly GreyJoy Safari Adventures driver-guide who will escort you to your accommodation in Arusha. Known as the safari capital of Tanzania, Arusha is a lively city nestled beneath the majestic Mount Meru and serves as the perfect gateway to your wildlife adventure.
Your first night will be at Africa Safari Arusha, located in the quiet Sakina area. Perched on Ngateu Hill, the lodge offers a peaceful retreat with sweeping views of Arusha town and the surrounding landscape—ideal for unwinding after your flight and getting ready for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Cultural Experience – Materuni Waterfalls or Mangalia, Coffee Tour & Chemka Hot Springs
Today is dedicated to culture and nature around Mount Kilimanjaro. Visit Materuni Village, home of the Chagga people, where you’ll hike to the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls and take part in a traditional Chagga coffee-making experience (Materuni or Mangalia Coffee Tour).
In the afternoon, head to Chemka Hot Springs, a hidden oasis with crystal-clear turquoise water—perfect for swimming and relaxation.
Main Destination: Kilimanjaro

🐘 Day 3: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and diverse birdlife.
Overnight: Safari Lodge / Tented Camp (Tarangire or Karatu area)

🦁 Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park
Start early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s best wildlife viewing areas. Enjoy a morning game drive on the crater floor, home to the Big Five.
In the afternoon, continue your scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the vast plains of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

🐆 Day 5: Full Day Serengeti Safari
Spend the entire day exploring the iconic Serengeti, renowned for its endless plains and incredible wildlife density. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and—season permitting—the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Overnight: Signature Serengeti Luxury Camp

🌄 Day 6: Serengeti → Ngorongoro / Karatu
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before departing the park. After lunch, drive towards Karatu, a charming town near the Ngorongoro Highlands, offering cool weather and beautiful scenery.

🐘 Day 7: Lake Eyasi – Hadzabe & Datoga Cultural Tour / Arusha or Zanzibar
Visit Lake Eyasi, home to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Spend the morning with the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers, learning about their traditional hunting methods, survival skills, and daily life. Later, visit the Datoga community, known for their blacksmithing skills.
In the evening, drive back to Arusha or transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar for an extended beach holiday.
