Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania!
Upon arrival at the airport, a friendly representative from GreyJoy Safari Adventures will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, there’s an optional short tour around Arusha city to soak in the local culture, grab any essentials, or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
Later in the evening, we’ll provide a detailed safari briefing to prepare you for the adventure ahead. For those feeling energetic, there’s an optional mini-hike to Kilima Moto – a perfect spot to stretch your legs and catch a stunning sunset over the hills.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast (departure at around 8:30 AM), we’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park—a scenic gem known for its pink-hued flamingos and rare tree-climbing lions. While lion sightings aren’t guaranteed, the park offers rich birdlife and beautiful landscapes. You’ll also visit the hippo pool, a hot spring, and spot various wildlife including buffaloes, wildebeests, warthogs, monkeys, and more.
After the game drive, we’ll head to your charming lodge in Mto wa Mbu, a village nestled at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Day 3: Mto wa Mbu – Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro
Enjoy a hearty breakfast, then begin your journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you’ll have the option to stop at a traditional Maasai village—a cultural experience where you’ll learn about the lifestyle and traditions of the iconic Maasai people.
Upon arrival in the Seronera region (central Serengeti) in the afternoon, we’ll enjoy lunch and set off for an exciting game drive. This area is famous for its rich wildlife and is often the best place to witness the Great Migration (depending on season). Cap off the day with a breathtaking Serengeti sunset.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start your day early with a morning game drive in the Serengeti to spot predators at their most active. After an unforgettable safari morning, return to camp for lunch and begin your journey towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon and overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater—perfectly positioned for an early descent the following morning.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Back to Arusha
Wake up early for a 6:15 AM descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. You’ll have the chance to spot the elusive black rhino, among many other species including lions, elephants, and hippos, all set against the dramatic backdrop of the crater walls.
After a picnic lunch in the crater, we’ll ascend and begin the drive back to Arusha where you’ll enjoy your final evening in Tanzania.

Day 6: Farewell – Drop-off at the Airport
