Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your adventure with GreyJoy Safari Adventures begins with an early pick-up at 8:00 am from Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport or your Arusha hotel. We’ll take a scenic three-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, home to some of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife.
You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, famous for its towering baobab trees, large herds of elephants, and the mighty Tarangire River—an essential water source for countless animals. Keep your eyes peeled for tree-climbing pythons and sightings of the Big Four (lion, elephant, buffalo, and leopard).
By evening, we’ll head to Jambo Lodge for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we journey towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the lush farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we descend from the highlands, the vast, endless plains of the Serengeti will unfold before you—a sight that truly defines the African wilderness.
Our destination is the Seronera area, renowned for its abundant wildlife thanks to the Seronera River, which draws animals year-round. Expect to encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herds of grazing animals.
We’ll arrive in time for lunch before enjoying an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be inside the Serengeti at Seronera Camp.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Rise early for a sunrise game drive, the perfect time to witness predators returning from a night’s hunt and herbivores beginning their day. After exploring until around 11:30 am, we’ll return to camp for a hearty brunch.
We’ll then set off for Ngorongoro, enjoying a game drive en route. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, perched on the crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations on Earth. Here, the wildlife density is unmatched.
With luck, you’ll spot all Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) in a single day. The crater floor is also home to huge herds of zebras and wildebeest, hyenas, hippos, and an impressive variety of birds.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at camp.

Day 5: Lake Manyara – Maasai Village – Arusha
Our final safari day begins with breakfast before heading to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. This beautiful park is set against the backdrop of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and is famous for its tree-climbing lions, hippos, giraffes, buffalo, and vibrant birdlife—including flamingos and ostriches.
We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing our wildlife search. In the afternoon, we’ll visit a traditional Maasai village to experience their unique culture, daily activities, and vibrant traditions.
By evening, we’ll return to Arusha, where you can be dropped off at your hotel or at Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport for your onward journey.
