Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Your safari with GreyJoy Safari Adventures begins bright and early as your friendly guide collects you from your Arusha hotel. You’ll set off on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its sweeping landscapes dotted with towering baobab trees. These gentle giants cast cool shadows over herds of grazing animals, while the Tarangire River serves as a lifeline for the park’s incredible wildlife.
Spend the day on thrilling game drives in Tanzania’s third-largest national park, where you may encounter elephants in remarkable numbers, as well as lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, oryx, elands, and the graceful lesser kudu. Every turn brings a new photo-worthy moment.
By evening, you’ll head to Ngedere Lodges & Camps in Mto wa Mbu, where a delicious dinner awaits before you settle in for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, prepare for an unforgettable day as you descend 600 meters to the floor of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater—often called Africa’s “Garden of Eden.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an astonishing variety of wildlife. You might spot lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, antelopes, jackals, and—if you’re lucky—the rare black rhino. Bird lovers will enjoy sightings of eagles, flamingos, storks, kori bustards, and more.
You’ll pause for a scenic picnic lunch beside the Hippo Pool, a perfect spot to soak in the beauty and tranquility of your surroundings. In the afternoon, your guide will navigate the steep crater walls back to the rim before returning you to Ngedere Lodges & Camps for dinner and another restful night.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park → Arusha
After breakfast in Mto wa Mbu, you’ll set off for Lake Manyara National Park—a small but stunning park renowned for its rich ecosystems. As you enter, you’ll pass through lush groundwater forests of acacia and mahogany before reaching open savannah and the shimmering lake.
During your game drive, keep watch for giraffes, buffalos, impalas, blue monkeys, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. In the right season, the lake’s shores may also be tinged pink with thousands of flamingos.
After a picnic lunch in the park, you’ll enjoy a final afternoon of wildlife viewing before driving back to Arusha, marking the end of your GreyJoy Safari Adventures journey.
