Day 1 – Tarangire National Park Day Trip
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your GreyJoy Safari Adventures professional driver-guide will meet you for a short safari briefing. Then, it’s time to set off for the stunning Tarangire National Park.
This beautiful park stretches along the Tarangire River and features gentle, low-lying hills on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The landscape is dotted with graceful acacia woodlands, towering baobab trees, and expansive swamp areas in the south. During the dry season, the river and swamps become a lifeline for wildlife, attracting large numbers of animals. Tarangire is especially famous for its massive elephant herds—some of the largest you’ll find anywhere in Africa.
You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and spend the day exploring on two thrilling game drives—one in the morning and another in the afternoon—following the Tarangire River in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, and countless other species.
In the late afternoon, you’ll head back to Arusha for drop-off at the location of your choice, bringing your adventure to an end.
