Your adventure begins with a convenient hotel transfer to Zanzibar Airport, where you’ll board a 7:00 a.m. flight to Mikumi. Upon arrival, step straight into an exhilarating game drive through this remarkable park. Though compact in size, Mikumi offers a safari experience packed with beauty and excitement, allowing you to witness incredible wildlife sightings within just a few hours.

Day 1: Full-Day Mikumi National Park Safari from Zanzibar
Your adventure with GreyJoy Safari Adventures begins bright and early at 5:00 a.m., when our professional driver will collect you from your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport. From there, you’ll board your flight to the breathtaking Mikumi National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden safari gems.
Get ready for a full-day game drive through the park’s stunning landscapes. The highlight is the Mikumi floodplain, a vast, wildlife-rich area framed by beautiful mountain ranges. Here, you may spot some of Africa’s most iconic animals — from majestic lions and powerful buffalos to graceful elands and many more.
Midway through your adventure, we’ll pause for a delicious hot lunch in the heart of the park — the perfect chance to relax and recharge before heading out again. The afternoon brings more incredible wildlife encounters as we explore different areas of the park, maximizing your chances of unforgettable sightings.
Around 3:00 p.m., you’ll catch your return flight to Zanzibar. Upon landing, our driver will be ready to take you back to your hotel, ending a truly memorable day of safari discovery.
