After your safari, you’ll fly to Zanzibar, where soft white sands, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and the relaxed charm of the Indian Ocean provide the perfect ending to your adventure.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha City
Upon landing at the airport, a friendly representative from GreyJoy Safari Adventures will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. This first day is designed for you to relax, settle in, and prepare for the adventures ahead. If you arrive early, you’ll also have the chance to explore Arusha City and nearby attractions.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your personal safari guide will pick you up for your first wildlife adventure. As you travel across the Maasai plains, you’ll pass Maasai herders, donkey carts, and vibrant villages before reaching Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.
From the open roof of your 4×4 safari jeep, take in the breathtaking scenery of seasonal swamps, rolling savannahs, and the Tarangire River. Keep your eyes peeled for zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffalos, lions, and perhaps even a leopard lounging in a tree.
After a full day of game drives, you’ll check into a comfortable lodge where dinner and relaxation await.

Day 3: Into the Serengeti – Central Serengeti National Park
An early breakfast sets you on your way to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Though the drive is long, it is filled with beautiful landscapes and cultural encounters along the way.
As you enter the Serengeti, the “endless plains” stretch before you—nearly 18,000 square kilometers of pristine wilderness. This is the stage for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras move in search of greener pastures.
Big cats thrive here too—lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas are often spotted. This is the Serengeti you’ve seen in countless documentaries, now unfolding right before your eyes.

Day 4: Serengeti Sunrise & Journey to Ngorongoro
Wake up early to witness a magical African sunrise on a morning game drive. As the sun lights up the plains, watch the wilderness come alive with elephants, antelopes, and predators beginning their day.
You’ll enjoy breakfast in the park and lunch amidst the sweeping landscapes. In the afternoon, continue your game drive before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where your camp awaits near the crater rim.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – A Natural Wonder
Today’s highlight is the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. Descend 600 meters into the caldera, often called the “Garden of Eden,” where over 25,000 animals live year-round.
You’ll spot rhinos, elephants, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, and perhaps even the elusive leopard. Bird lovers will be delighted too, as the area hosts more than 500 species. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you’ll head to your lodge in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and a restful evening.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park & Flight to Zanzibar
Your safari adventure continues at Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, pink-hued flamingos, and lush landscapes. Despite being smaller than other parks, its diversity is unmatched—from woodlands and cliffs to grassy plains teeming with wildlife.
After exploring the park and enjoying lunch, you’ll drive back to Arusha and catch your flight to Zanzibar, where turquoise waters and white-sand beaches await.
Main Destination: Lake Manyara National Park → Zanzibar

Day 7: Zanzibar – Stone Town & Spice Tour
This day begins with a visit to the historic Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll sail on a traditional dhow to Prison Island, home to giant tortoises, some over a century old. A refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters is the perfect addition to your morning.
Later, enjoy a Spice Tour, where you’ll discover Zanzibar’s famous spices and tropical fruits—cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, and more. This cultural experience connects you with the island’s rich history as a hub of the spice trade.

Day 8: White Sand Beaches of Zanzibar
Today is for relaxation and rejuvenation. Spend the day unwinding on Zanzibar’s pristine beaches, swimming in turquoise waters, and soaking up the sun beneath swaying palms. The island’s tranquil beauty makes it an ideal spot to rest after days of thrilling safari adventures.

Day 9: Departure from Zanzibar
Sadly, your adventure with GreyJoy Safari Adventures comes to an end. At your preferred time, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey. While it’s hard to say goodbye, you’ll leave with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes, and culture.
