Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at the airport, a GreyJoy Safari Adventures representative will be there to greet you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Take the evening to relax, unwind, and prepare for the unforgettable safari journey ahead. Your overnight stay at Arusha Planet Lodge offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful gardens and calming views.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your personal GreyJoy safari guide will pick you up from your lodge and we’ll set off for Tarangire National Park. The drive takes you through rolling Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees and traditional Maasai herders in colorful attire.
Known for its massive elephant herds, Tarangire is a wildlife haven also home to zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, giraffes, lions, and even leopards resting in the trees. From the open roof of your safari vehicle, you’ll enjoy views of the seasonal swamps, vast savannas, and the life-giving Tarangire River.
After an exciting game drive, we’ll head to our partner lodge where a delicious dinner and comfortable rooms await you.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
It’s an early start today as we make our way to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descending 600 meters into the caldera, you’ll be surrounded by a spectacular landscape teeming with wildlife.
The crater is home to over 25,000 animals, including the Big Five, spotted hyenas, and a dazzling variety of birdlife. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, we’ll continue to Karatu where you’ll enjoy dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Manyara & Flight to Zanzibar
After breakfast, we’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but incredibly diverse park famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants, and large flocks of flamingos. You’ll also encounter giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and over 500 bird species in this lush ecosystem.
Following a rewarding game drive and lunch, we return to Arusha where you’ll catch your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Stone Town, you’ll settle into the charming Maru Maru Hotel for the night.

Days 5–7: Zanzibar North Coast – Explore & Relax
From Stone Town, we’ll transfer you to Nungwi, located at the northern tip of Zanzibar. Once a traditional dhow-building village, Nungwi is now one of the island’s most vibrant beach destinations. Here, turquoise waters and white sandy beaches set the perfect stage for relaxation and adventure.
Spend your days swimming, snorkeling, diving around Mnemba Island, or enjoying water sports like fishing and kayaking. For those seeking slower-paced activities, yoga sessions, cycling, and guided cultural tours of the village are available. And of course, the sunsets in Nungwi are nothing short of magical.

Day 8: Departure
