Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a friendly representative from GreyJoy Safari Adventures will meet you and transfer you to Arusha. If your flight arrives early, you’ll have time to relax by the pool or explore the lively city center of Arusha. In the evening, unwind with a refreshing sundowner by the pool and toast to the beginning of your unforgettable adventure.

Day 2: Scenic Drive to Lake Natron
Today begins with a beautiful road trip through northern Tanzania’s rugged landscapes on your way to Lake Natron. Famous for its surreal scenery, Lake Natron feels like stepping into another world. On arrival, settle into your lodge and enjoy a swim in the pool before dinner, all while soaking in the dramatic, arid backdrop.

Day 3: Fossil Footprints & Ngare Sero Waterfalls
Start your day exploring the Engaresero Footprint Site, home to one of the world’s most significant collections of fossilized hominid footprints—over 400 impressions dating back 5,000 to 19,000 years. Later, enjoy a guided hike with a Maasai guide to the Ngare Sero Waterfalls. This moderate trek leads you through narrow gorges and lush palms, ending at a refreshing natural pool where you can take a swim.

Day 4: Flamingo Walk & Transfer to Lake Manyara
Lake Natron is a breeding ground for thousands of lesser flamingos. With a Maasai guide, enjoy a fascinating Flamingo Walk along the lakeshore. Afterwards, embark on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by lush scenery.

Day 5: Safari in Lake Manyara National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse landscapes, tree-climbing lions, and flocks of flamingos. The park’s waterfalls, hot springs, and scenic views make it one of Tanzania’s most beautiful destinations. After your game drive, return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 6: Safari in Ngorongoro Crater
An early start takes you into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and home to over 30,000 animals. Here you’ll have a chance to see the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino. In the evening, head to Karatu for dinner and stunning views of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 7: Safari in Tarangire National Park

Day 8: Flight to Zanzibar
This morning, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, you’ll be taken to Zanzibar Bay Resort, a beachfront paradise with rustic charm and modern comfort. Spend the rest of the day unwinding on the white sandy beach.

Day 9: Relaxing in Zanzibar
Zanzibar Bay Resort is located next to Paradise Beach Resort, and as a guest, you can enjoy the facilities of both. Relax by the pool, indulge in the Spa & Wellness Centre, or sip cocktails at one of the bars. If you’re feeling active, the resort offers a gym, kids’ club, and optional excursions.

Day 10: Another Day in Paradise
