If you arrive early in the morning, you’ll head straight to Tarangire National Park—just about a 2-hour scenic drive away. For late arrivals, we suggest spending the night in Arusha and beginning your safari fresh the next day.

Once in Tarangire, the game drive begins! Known for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds, the park offers an incredible start to your journey. The Tarangire River is the lifeline of the park, especially in the dry season, drawing all kinds of animals—lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, gazelles, and even the elusive tree-climbing python. Keep your camera ready—you’re in for an exciting wildlife experience.

Day 2: From Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

Rise early for breakfast and depart by 6:30 AM—it’s worth it! Early mornings offer the best light and the highest chance of seeing active wildlife.

Your first stop is the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. From the rim, the view of this vast volcanic caldera is simply breathtaking. As you descend to the crater floor, you’ll enter a wildlife paradise where you may spot the Big Five—especially the rare black rhino—along with flamingos, hyenas, elephants, and more. It’s a place of raw beauty and unforgettable encounters.

After a picnic lunch, your journey continues toward the iconic Serengeti National Park. En route, enjoy a scenic transfer game drive, arriving at your tented camp in time for dinner and a well-earned rest.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Wake up to birdsong and the call of the wild in the heart of the Serengeti. After breakfast, set off at 6:30 AM for a full-day game drive across the Central Serengeti—home to some of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.

Today’s mission: to track the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos—and witness the breathtaking landscapes that make the Serengeti world-famous. Whether it’s predator action on the plains or herds grazing peacefully, every moment offers a new surprise.

By late afternoon, you’ll leave the park and travel to your next lodge near Lake Manyara, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Watch for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, flocks of flamingos, elephants, baboons, and an impressive variety of birds.
