Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Transfer to Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania – “An Unforgettable Journey Begins!”
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your professional GreyJoy Safari Adventures guide. After a short welcome and introduction, you’ll enjoy a scenic one-hour drive to Arusha, affectionately known as the “Geneva of Africa.”
Settle into your accommodation at Four Points by Sheraton Arusha, a charming base where you can relax after your long journey and soak in the warm African atmosphere.
Main Destination: Kilimanjaro International Airport / Arusha

Day 2: Game Drive – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, your adventure kicks off with a drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful reserve famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and over 400 bird species. You’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and explore the park’s diverse landscapes — from groundwater forests to the soda lake.
After the game drive, you’ll head to Karatu for a relaxing evening and overnight stay at Mawe Mawe Manyara Lodge.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park – Afternoon Game Drive
Start your day with breakfast, then depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park — one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. Along the way, your expert GreyJoy guide will share insights about Tanzania’s natural and cultural treasures.
Upon arrival in the Central Serengeti, you’ll have a hot lunch at Signature Serengeti Luxury Tented Safari Camp, followed by some relaxation. In the afternoon, head out for a thrilling game drive across the endless plains — home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and more.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive – Serengeti National Park
Today offers a full day of exploring the magical Serengeti. Start with an early breakfast and set off on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the wild. You’ll have the chance to witness an abundance of wildlife — from herds of buffalo and elephants to predators like cheetahs and leopards.
Optional: For a truly unforgettable memory, take a sunrise hot air balloon safari (available at extra cost).
Return to your luxury tented camp for a delicious dinner and a peaceful night under the stars.

Day 5: Game Drive – Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, journey to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” As you descend into the caldera, prepare for an unforgettable safari through one of the most wildlife-rich areas on the continent.
You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater and continue your game drive in the afternoon. Look out for rhinos, lions, elephants, flamingos, and many other species in this self-contained ecosystem.
After the safari, ascend the crater and return to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Mawe Mawe Manyara Lodge.

Day 6: Cultural Experience – Hadzabe Tribe at Lake Eyasi
Today is all about culture and connection. After breakfast, you’ll head to Lake Eyasi for a special encounter with the Hadzabe people, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa.
You’ll spend time learning about their way of life, join in on traditional hunting techniques with bows and arrows, and witness how they gather food from the land. This immersive experience offers rare insight into a lifestyle that has remained unchanged for centuries.

Day 7: Safari in Tarangire National Park – Return to Arusha
On your final safari day, journey to Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant herds. During your game drive, keep your eyes peeled for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of antelope.
After lunch in the park, drive back to Arusha where your memorable adventure with GreyJoy Safari Adventures concludes. You’ll be transferred to the airport or your next destination, filled with unforgettable memories of Tanzania.
