Day 1: Welcome to Arusha – The Gateway to Adventure
Welcome to Tanzania! As you arrive at the airport, a friendly representative from GreyJoy Safari Adventures will be waiting to greet you. From there, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation in the beautiful city of Arusha.
You’ll be staying at the elegant Mount Meru Hotel, a peaceful luxury retreat known for its beautiful gardens and serene atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to rest and recharge after your journey.
Use this day to relax, adjust to the rhythm of Tanzania, and prepare for the incredible journey ahead!

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Ancient Baobabs
After breakfast, your personal GreyJoy safari guide will pick you up for the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you’ll see Maasai herders in their colorful shukas and a landscape that becomes wilder as you get closer to the park.
Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich wildlife. From your open-roof 4×4 safari vehicle, you’ll have excellent views of zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, giraffes—and if you’re lucky, lions or even leopards.
After a day of wildlife viewing, you’ll head to your cozy luxury lodge in Karatu for a delicious dinner and some well-earned rest.

Day 3: Journey to the Serengeti via Ngorongoro Highlands
Today, after breakfast, you’ll journey through the Ngorongoro Highlands, a lush, green region where the Iraqw people farm wheat and corn. Your drive will take you through misty rainforests within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you might spot baboons, elephants, or even a shy leopard.
After pausing to admire the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater from above, you’ll continue on to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, arriving around midday.
The Serengeti is vast and teeming with life—grassy plains, rocky outcrops, and endless skies. After an afternoon game drive, you’ll head to your lodge for a warm meal and a night under the African stars.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in the Iconic Serengeti
Spend the entire day on safari in the Serengeti, exploring one of the world’s most iconic wildlife destinations. This region is home to a stunning variety of animals—impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, hippos, and more.
Of course, the Great Migration steals the spotlight. Depending on the time of year, you may witness massive herds of wildebeest and zebras making their way across the plains, trailed closely by predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, and let the adventure unfold at nature’s pace.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater – Into the World’s Largest Caldera
After breakfast, it’s time to head to the incredible Ngorongoro Crater—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. The crater is home to a high concentration of animals, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino), and over 500 species of birds.
You’ll descend into the crater for a day of game viewing, with lunch served at a scenic picnic site beside a hippo-filled lake. After your game drive, you’ll head to your lodge perched on the rim of the crater for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Return to Arusha – The End of an Unforgettable Journey

After soaking in the moment, your GreyJoy driver-guide will transfer you back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
