Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania – Your Safari Adventure Begins!
Karibu Tanzania! Your unforgettable journey with GreyJoy Safari Adventures kicks off the moment you land at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). Our warm and friendly representative will be there to greet you with a smile and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel in Arusha.
Arusha, located at the base of Mount Meru, is a bustling safari hub and the perfect place to rest and recharge before your wildlife expedition begins. Depending on your arrival time, you can unwind at the hotel or explore the city — perhaps stroll through the colorful local markets or visit the Cultural Heritage Centre.
In the evening, enjoy a tasty dinner (at your own arrangement) and meet your professional GreyJoy safari guide, who will brief you on the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Into the Wild
After a delicious early breakfast, your safari officially begins! You’ll head out on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, often called Tanzania’s hidden gem. This park is known for its iconic baobab trees, sweeping savannahs, and massive elephant herds.
With your expert GreyJoy guide leading the way, you’ll explore Tarangire’s varied landscapes on thrilling game drives. Look out for lions, leopards, giraffes, wildebeest, and over 500 bird species. The Tarangire River, especially during the dry season, becomes a vital watering hole and an excellent place to spot wildlife.
Lunch will be served picnic-style in the heart of nature. After an adventurous afternoon game drive, you’ll head to your charming lodge for a relaxing evening and a hearty dinner.

Day 3: Journey to the Legendary Serengeti
This morning, after breakfast, you’ll make your way to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where Maasai herders and their livestock coexist with wildlife — a fascinating cultural and natural landscape.
As you enter the Serengeti, prepare to be awed by endless plains teeming with wildlife. This is the land of the Great Migration, where over a million wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles roam in search of fresh grazing.
In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a game drive across the Serengeti, with opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and other incredible animals. Later, settle into your luxury camp, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and fall asleep to the sounds of the African night.

Day 4: Sunrise Safari & Travel to Ngorongoro Highlands
Start the day with a sunrise game drive — one of the best times to catch predators on the move and the savannah bathed in golden morning light. After breakfast at camp, you’ll continue your game drive through key Serengeti regions like the Seronera Valley and Grumeti River, where crocodiles lurk and hippos soak.
In the afternoon, you’ll leave the Serengeti and head to the stunning Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy another scenic drive filled with wildlife sightings as you ascend toward the crater rim. By evening, you’ll arrive at your cozy lodge perched high above the Ngorongoro Crater — just in time for dinner and spectacular views.

Day 5: Explore the Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha
Today’s adventure takes you into the heart of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five — lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo — all in one day.
After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the crater for a full morning of game viewing. From sunbathing lions and wallowing hippos to pink flamingos and herds of zebra, the crater floor is a wildlife paradise. Your GreyJoy guide will ensure you’re in the best spots to witness all the action.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the crater, then begin the drive back to Arusha in the afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport, depending on your travel plans.
