You’ll descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife, before heading out to the legendary Serengeti—famed for its vast “endless plains” and unforgettable game viewing. Throughout the safari, you’ll relax and recharge at carefully selected mid-range lodges and tented camps, blending comfort with the spirit of the wilderness.

Day 1–2: Arrival & Flight to Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)
Upon arrival at the airport, a warm welcome awaits you from your GreyJoy Safari Adventures representative. After a brief introduction and safari orientation, you’ll board a scenic flight to the world-famous Northern Serengeti, Kogatende.
These first two days are dedicated to exploring this spectacular part of the Serengeti, where endless plains meet the dramatic Mara River. Known as “the big cat capital of Africa”, this region is a prime spot for witnessing lions, cheetahs, and leopards in action. Beyond the predators, you’ll encounter elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffalo, impala, and countless other species that make the Serengeti an unrivalled wildlife haven.
Evenings will be spent unwinding at your camp, with delicious meals and comfortable overnight stays in the heart of nature.

Day 3: Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a game drive en route as you journey to the Central Serengeti. This area is world-renowned for the Great Migration, where vast herds of wildebeest and zebra follow the seasonal rains—an awe-inspiring natural spectacle (timing depends on the season of your safari).
Along the way, keep an eye out for crocodiles basking by rivers, hippos wallowing in pools, and predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards that patrol the savannah in search of prey.

Day 4: Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
After an early breakfast, you’ll set off on a final Serengeti game drive before continuing to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Formed millions of years ago, the crater is 600 meters deep and home to about 25,000 animals, making it one of the most wildlife-dense areas in Africa.
Inside the crater, you’ll have the chance to spot wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and over 500 bird species. With luck, you may even spot the rare and endangered black rhino grazing in the distance. After a picnic lunch in the crater, you’ll continue to Karatu for a relaxing evening, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 5: Tarangire National Park – Return to Arusha
Your final safari day takes you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and impressive elephant population. The Tarangire River draws wildlife year-round, creating excellent opportunities to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of elephants.
After an exciting morning game drive and picnic lunch, you’ll return to Arusha in the evening. From there, you can continue on to Zanzibar for a beach escape or catch your flight back home—whichever plan you’ve arranged with us.
