Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Airport Pick Up & Hotel Transfer
Your adventure with GreyJoy Safari Adventures begins the moment you land in Arusha. Our warm and welcoming team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to a cozy lodge or hotel resting at the foot of Mt. Meru. If time allows, you can take a short city tour to experience Arusha’s lively markets and local culture before settling into your lodge. This first evening is all about relaxing, unwinding, and getting ready for the unforgettable safari ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Drive to Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, your journey takes you to the world-famous Serengeti. By afternoon, you’ll reach Central Serengeti, an area teeming with wildlife year-round thanks to the Seronera River. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and countless antelope species. This region is also known as “big cat country,” where lions lounge on kopjes, leopards rest in acacia trees, and cheetahs roam the open plains.
Enjoy a delicious hot lunch hamper served inside the park before continuing with an exciting afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, you’ll head to your comfortable safari camp for dinner and an evening under the starry African skies.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the heart of the Serengeti. Start early to catch the wildlife at its most active and take advantage of the golden morning light for photography. You’ll traverse endless plains, winding river valleys, and rocky outcrops in search of predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Along the way, spot herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and a variety of antelope.
Bird lovers will be delighted by sightings of eagles, vultures, and the vibrant lilac-breasted roller. A hot picnic lunch will be served at a scenic location before you continue your safari adventure. In the evening, return to camp for dinner and a restful night surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Return to Arusha / Airport
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and enjoy a picturesque drive through rolling hills, farmland, and Maasai villages on your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, you may spot zebras, giraffes, or even elephants grazing near the road.
Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater is a true highlight—this vast volcanic caldera is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife. Look out for lions, rhinos, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and countless other species living in this natural sanctuary.
By late afternoon, your safari experience comes full circle as we return to Arusha. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey, with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes.
