Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Start your adventure with a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, where the landscapes of northern Tanzania unfold in all their glory. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of rolling plains, distant hills, and glimpses of wildlife in their natural habitat.
Upon arrival, prepare to be mesmerized by the park’s iconic elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and an array of other wildlife. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch amidst the wild surroundings before resuming your game drive along the Tarangire Riverbanks. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species – every turn promises a new sighting.
In the evening, retreat to Manyara’s Secret, a boutique lodge perched on the edge of Lake Manyara National Park. Here, luxury meets seclusion, with private villas offering stunning views over the lake and surrounding savanna. If the weather allows, dine under the stars for a magical experience you’ll always remember.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, just a 40-minute drive from your lodge. Upon arrival, take a short break to refresh while your guide completes park entry formalities.
Lake Manyara is famed for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and baboons. Despite its small size, it boasts an impressive variety of birds and wildlife, making every game drive a unique experience. Enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive, with lunch included, as you explore this enchanting park.
Return to Manyara’s Secret in the evening for a relaxing stay. From your villa, enjoy panoramic views over the lake and savanna as the sun sets.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
Wake up early (between 6:00 and 6:30 am) for a descent into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. Early mornings offer the best chance to spot elusive black rhinos as they roam the crater floor.
Explore the crater in an open-roof 4×4 safari vehicle, taking in the dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife. With walls rising 600–650 meters, the Ngorongoro Crater is a natural amphitheater for some of Tanzania’s most iconic animals. Seasonal changes bring different landscapes and wildlife patterns, ensuring a truly unique safari experience.
Pause for a picnic lunch near the famous hippo pool before your guide drives you to Arusha for your evening flight to Zanzibar, arriving around 6:00 pm. Washrooms are available at all park gates and picnic spots.
