This 3-day safari offers a thrilling adventure into the Serengeti after your relaxing beach holiday. The journey begins with a scenic flight from Zanzibar, taking you to the wild northern part of Tanzania. The Serengeti is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including one of Africa’s largest lion populations. It’s also the setting for the incredible annual wildebeest migration, a must-see natural phenomenon.

Day 1: Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park
Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip at approximately 11:00 am, your safari guide will be there to welcome you. They will have a picnic lunch ready for you, and then you will begin your safari adventure. The first stop will be around 1:00 pm for a delightful lunch break. Afterward, you will continue your game drive, keeping an eye out for the majestic big cats of Serengeti as well as the various herbivores. In the evening, you will head back to your camp in time for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Safari Haven.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park
You will begin your day with breakfast at the camp before setting off for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. The landscape here is simply mesmerizing. While a significant portion of the park is made up of seasonally flooded plains, forests, and shrub savannahs, the Serengeti is primarily known for its expansive grassy plains. Being surrounded by millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles is an unforgettable experience. As these animals embark on their annual migration north, they stampede across the open plains and brave crocodile-infested rivers, while predators relentlessly pursue them. After enjoying a picnic lunch on the Serengeti plains, your game drive will continue into the evening. As the sun sets over the horizon, you will head back to the camp, where you’ll wind down by the crackling bushfire. Your overnight stay will be at Serengeti Safari Haven.

Day 3: Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will check out of the camp and begin your final game drive in the Serengeti. Following the drive, you’ll head to Seronera Airstrip to catch your mid-morning flight from Serengeti to Zanzibar.
